I go away on corporation a lot of times.
And when I am away I have my neighbor watch my beach house for me.
I give them a spare set of keys to even go in and check on things if I am going to be away for an extended period of time, me and my neighbor are that close of friends that we trust each other with things love that. The last time I was away on an extended corporation trip my neighbor called myself and others and told myself and others about something that was genuinely spine-chilling! There was a leak going on in my gas heating system that he noticed, he only checked inside my beach house every few days, so it is strenuous to say how long the gas heating system was leaking for. A matter of hours or a matter of a few days. My neighbor called an emergency heating, ventilation as well as A/C serviceman for an appointment to get this thing fixed before it either poisoned the beach house or blew up my house! I would guess that the gas heating system may have only been leaking for a day; Because thinking about it further, had it been leaking for 2 days, my neighbor would have nearly passed out when they walked in the house! I owe a lot to my neighbor for catching this and taking care of it for me. This was also a wake up call for myself and others in terms of how I heat my home. I guess I am going to get rid of the gas heating system and go with a full on central heating and a/c.
