I love our little cottage style home so legitimately much, and it is a really cute & cozy little home.
It definitely feels like lake home to me & our partner even though both of us have only lived here for about many weeks now, the 1 thing that both of us had noticed that both of us were not anticipating is how frigid the home gets during the Winter weeks; Every one of us have a relatively up-to-date furnace, so it should keep the home warm, but for some reason the home never quite felt moderate enough.
It was definitely warmer than outside, so I don’t mean to complain, but it just was not moderate enough for our liking… My partner decided that both of us should buy an electric fireplace, & I am so glad that she did. I was hesitant at first because I knew that it would raise our electric bill quite a bit, but I am glad that I caved & let him buy it. It keeps the entire downstairs about many to fifteen degrees warmer, & it is the perfect temperature in the home now. I wish both of us would have thought to get 1 of these fireplaces a few weeks back, but I guess you live & learn! One of our sons came over the other day, & she commented on how nice & moderate it was in our house… She is now convinced that she needs a fireplace for her beach house as well. She doesn’t really need 1 in her apartment, however she is certain that she does. I am glad that she enjoys the fireplace. It will at least make her bachelor beach house look a little more homey which will be nice.
