I’m the kind of man who wants to be on the go.
So when our mother came to stay with us for a little while, I started losing my mind.
It’s not that I didn’t prefer having our mother around, it’s just that mom doesn’t want me to do anything. She wanted to do all the cooking, the laundry, and even fix little odds and ends around the household. When the kitchen light went out for instance, mom replaced it! Even when I went to mow the lawn, he said that he needed the exercise and pushed the lawnmower like a fiend. All I was able to do was kneel around and do practically nothing like a useless person while I just loved the frosty air from the cooling system. Eventually, the cooling plan started making some hideous sounds. My mother was saying the best thing to do would be to call up the Heating and A/C business. She wanted to spend money for the cost to repair the cooling plan instead of me. I had to put our foot down and said I would take care of it. I decided not to call the Heating and A/C business, I got some friends to come over and we went to work on the cooling system. Every one of us figured both of us knew what both of us were doing because we watched DIY Heating and A/C repair videos. Every one of us even replaced a certain space in the cooling plan and thought it would work like a charm afterwards. The thing worked for a period of two days and then made a huge grinding noise that didn’t sound at all promising. By the time I actually had an Heating and A/C professional over to do real work on the cooling system, he was disappointed to see that both of us tried to fix it on our own. He chuckled and told me it cost me a lot of money to have repaired.
