The AC system is 1 of the best inventions that was ever invented. The other afternoon, for some reason I was sitting in our bedroom enjoying the cool air blowing from the central AC when I started thinking about it. I genuinely like our AC, and I typically try to imagine living our entire life separate from an AC. The whole thing made me wonder when the first AC on earth was invented. I imagined that it would be sometime, possibly during our Grandfather’s time, although I had no clue. I decided to research the AC, and what I found completely surprised me. Did you think that the first ACwas invented in 1902? In fact, a super well-known Heating and Air Conditioning manufacturing company was immediately named after the man who invented the first AC back then. His name was William Carrier. When the first AC was created, he did not have human comfort in mind, to be honest. William Carrier worked in a printing press, and his biggest boss asked him to invent a device that would be able to control indoor humidity in the printing press. The first AC was made as a way to control humidity, and the device made to do it was extremely large! The device was successful in controlling the indoor humidity, but a side effect of this process also caused the indoor air to get colder. Realizing the potential of his large invention, William started a company and began developing AC systems that could be used in companies, and eventually, buildings. Eventually, they even developed AC that could be used in homes. That is similar to the window AC that we have today.
