He enjoys the a single in the intake vent so that dust does not get into the system itself. Then he puts a single more filter in the normal place to keep dusty air from circulating in the house. I tried explaining that a single fine filter does both of those things but our Mom is set in his ways. I suppose there’s no way I am going to change his mind so I just shut up and let him have his more than one filters. After all, it’s his Heating and Air Conditioning system, if he wants it to work extra hard then that has his choice. I’m just glad I could help him out.
