Being a homemaker is no easy job.
This is especially the case when you have more than four teenagers, a pet, plus a ferret under your roof.
I’m regularly forgetting something important. This summer, I totally forgot to wash out the drip pipe in the a/c. I usually do it at least once or twice a year when I wash our heating plus a/c method but this past year I didn’t get around to doing either of those things, so of course our heating plus a/c did not get cleaned plus then I did not get the old pipe flushed out either. I paid the price when I was taking a load of dirty laundry down into the basement to wash. I ended up slipping on the floor plus falling on our back in a pool of water. I had no clue right then where all this water was coming from. I thought it might have been something awful that the pet did or maybe it came from the washing machine across the room. After picking myself up off the floor, I discovered that all of the water had come from our AC system. It was only then that I remembered that I had forgotten to properly wash out the drip pipe this year. I hope that all of that sitting water is not going to cause a mold concern in our walls or floors in the basement. I really do not have time to deal with that right now. I am incredibly fortunate that I did not get seriously hurt when I fell. I know I might start paying regularly for an Heating & Air Conditioning supplier to come plus service our entire heating plus a/c unit from now on in order to take away some of our burden.
