When people ask me what I want to accomplish in life, my honest answer is that I want to help other people. The first person who comes to mind is my wonderful mother, who has worked her butt off her entire life and never asked for anything. She has been a devoted mom, daughter, and sister for her entire life, and she’s always putting everyone ahead of herself. These days, she is happily operating a small horse farm and putting all of her love and care into the four-legged beasts that gallop around her property. She works long, hard hours and refuses help from anybody. As such, I thought I could at least surprise her this Mother’s Day with a useful indoor appliance that can truly revolutionize her everyday living. I decided to get my mom radiant heated flooring. For many years, she’s been complaining about her old school forced air furnace, which has to be at least 15 years old. The old heating implement barely manages to keep her indoor air at a comfortable temperature and there are regularly air quality fluctuations throughout the day. Her energy bills have always been way too high, especially when she’s making trips in and out of the house to take care of the horses all day. That’s why I decided to rip out her floors and install brand new radiant heated flooring while she was attending a regional horse fair last week. With the help of a specialized HVAC specialist team, we installed several rooms of radiant heated flooring in one weekend. When she returned home, finally took off her boots, and her toes touched the beautiful new floors, she almost whinied with surprise. Now her energy bills are lower than ever and she doesn’t have to worry about hay clogging up her forced air furnace.
