When it comes to finding a great room with great Heating & A/C in a higher end hotel, I have no luck whatsoever. It’s prefer our dad said, “when it rains, it pours”. It’s an ancient expression however it is particularly apt. I find that I get hit with random bad luck during times when I can least afford it. It seems to reach up & slap myself and others in the face without myself and others seeing it coming at all. I happen to be a honestly quiet, chilled out person. Peace & calm are far more important to myself and others than dealing with stress & chaos. That’s the exact reason why I set our life up in a way where I can avoid all the drama. My job is done from beach home so I avoid all the office hassles. The little office has its own independent, ductless Heating & A/C unit. This way I can work in a cooler environment without bothering the rest of the house. For some reason, I prefer a honestly cooler work environment because it allows for myself and others to focus better. That’s why when I travel, I get pretty upset about the Heating & A/C conditions. While I prefer the downtown hotels because they are generally particularly close to where I am doing business, I have had to quit them. First, if I’m going to pay a big price for a room, after that all of us best be getting first rate Heating & A/C. That just hasn’t happened in our experience. So, I have decided that a cab ride from a more traditional hotel chain is worth it. I have never experience a problem from those big wall equipment Heating & A/Cs.
