We definitely like going to the outdoor farmers’ market every year.
There are a good amount of things to do & see there, & I especially like talking to all of the locals that bring their products, produce, & honey to the market.
My number one booth to visit is the local beekeeping farmer who regularly has wildflower honey for sale. Their honey is the best that I have ever tasted in all my years, & I have tasted a lot of honey in my life because I like it so much. There’s just nothing better than honey on soft fresh bread or on a biscuit in the morning time… I also like to mix honey up with butter & eat it together on a sandwich. When I head over to the farmer’s market, I constantly make sure to stock up on fresh honey & handmade butter. There’s really nothing out there that compares for a snack, if you ask me. It’s hilarious because my partner constantly teases me that I constantly make a beeline toward the sign that says fresh honey for sale. He really loves making deranged puns like that, but he is right. One day last year when we travelled to the farmers’ market, I waited until we were leaving to buy my honey just so I wouldn’t have to bring the basket around with me. Well, by the time I made it to the beekeeping farmer’s tent, all the honey was sold out! I definitely learned my lesson that day! Now I regularly make sure to go straight there as soon as we get to the place. I never want to miss out again!
