I own a Moore heating idea plus it is a tank, then i don’t think if the heating supplier is still around, if I had to recognize I would say no… The reason is that our heating component has required no maintenance or heating repairs in the entire time I have owned it.
No matter what happens to the heater, it will keep on going, and since it runs on gas, power outages don’t affect it.
I have never cleaned the inside of it. It must have dust coated in the inside of it plus it is fine. The oil furnace is not run by a temperature control or anything either! When the house gets super cold, the Moore oil furnace gets to work, however my mother has a Moore oil furnace as well. The heating idea lives in her basement plus has never died on her. The basement frequently floods though. The oil furnace can be in standing water plus have no issue. When our mother was on trip once I checked on her heater. The basement was so filled with water that it was up to the vent on the heater. I could hear the water gurgling. It was going in the furnace. The oil furnace was still laboring, even partially underwater! I was worried about the safety risks with this heating equipment, but, eventually I got the water pumped out plus the oil furnace worked fantastic the next day. The oil furnace device just won’t quit, no matter what, however heating systems are not made that heavy duty anymore. They live a maximum of 15 years. My oil furnace will outlive me, I just think it.
