I need some help deciding on getting a coffee table or not

I don’t want the custom coffee table to have the appearance of floating in the middle of the floor.

Ok interior designers on the internet (or people who just happen to be excellent decorators) I truly need your help! I desperately need your help. I am trying to create the appropriate “look” in my residence plus I’m not sure what I should do. Some background, my family plus I recently moved into a modern residence plus the people I was with and I enjoy it. Every one of us have been decorating slowly plus everything is absolutely coming along. Every one of us have been decorating the residing room and, piece by piece, the people I was with and I have been getting the furniture where the people I was with and I adore it. The residing room is an absolutely open area and, while our custom furniture looks superb in that room, it is completely spacious. The section in front of the couch over to the sectional is truly empty. I honestly thought a rug would look wonderful however I didn’t love it when I put down a towel for a visual. I am thinking about adding a nice little custom coffee table in front of the custom couch, however I’m not sure if that’s a good move. I don’t want the custom coffee table to have the appearance of floating in the middle of the floor. On the other hand, I think the floor section might be too open separate from at least a really nice coffee table to entirely break up the space. Then again, I sort of appreciate the open feel of the space plus don’t want to ruin the flow of the residence by adding a custom coffee table where it doesn’t truly belong. Do you see my predicament? Well, that’s why I’m here. Coffee table or no coffee table? Please let me know your thoughts!
