I was so gleeful when my parents decided to buy a home in the country.
- I loved that every one of us had so more than 2 trees around the property plus every one of us had a pretty good amount of land.
The two of us had all these woods that I could explore plus there was this cool stream. One afternoon, my father decided to help myself and others build a treehouse in the wooded area. The two of us picked the perfect tree that had plenty of important support branches. It also was in a place that got plenty of sun. My father wanted to do this thing right. He said he even wanted to have an Heating plus Air Conditioning method to give heating plus cooling. I didn’t even think about that, but I realized that meant there would be electricity, but I wasn’t sure how. He ended up calling some friends to come out to help us complete the treehouse, plus it turned out appealing. There is plenty of space in the treehouse, it has insulation, plus it has an Heating plus Air Conditioning system! It has a ductless mini split plus that is powered by the solar panels he put on the roof of the treehouse. It’s so exciting to be up there, especially enjoyable on the deck that he made. The treehouse is well built plus is severely sturdy. There’s even a staircase that goes up to the treehouse, & a rope ladder. I can’t tell you how much fun I had in that treehouse over the years. Eventually though when I moved out, my parents thought there was no reason to keep the outdated beach house any longer. They ended up selling the property plus that was that, I was no longer able to visit my favorite place as a child. Who knows, maybe I can buy the place from the owner when they decide to sell.
