Adding climate control to a sunroom

When our entire family decided to hold the family reunion at our beach house I couldn’t entirely say no! After all, The past 8 years every one of us have held the reunion at strange peoples’ homes, it entirely was our turn…

But the only problem is that I don’t have a heck of a lot of space.

I finally figured it out, however, the only way I could do that was by turning the sun room into a room for all of the kids. There is only one problem with that plan: there is no heating or cooling in the sun room. It is all indoors, however, it closes off from the rest of the beach house and no heating, ventilation, and A/C vents go that way! Since the reunion is constantly held in the summer I knew this would be a problem! Even at night, it would be entirely too moderate in the sun room. Thankfully, I found a simple solution. I obtained a portable air cooler for a few hundred dollars from our local heating, ventilation, and A/C dealer. They assured myself and others that this identifiable portable air cooler was entirely quiet and entirely effective. I had our doubts but I didn’t see any other options so I decided to supply it a try. As soon as I got the portable home I jammed it in and turned it on. At first, I thought it wasn’t working, that is how quiet it is. I left it running all afternoon and, sure enough, it got entirely too cool and comfortable in the sun room. Even with the sun beating down on the windows, it was comfortable there. So that means it will be comfortable for the kids at night too. That is perfect!
