The people I was with and I had settled in our Grandmother’s residence and every one of us were all so thankful to be there.
- A group of us, her grandkids, had planned this surprise visit for the length of the weekend.
Everything was going smoothly other than the fact that she punctuated every sentence with a cough which made me ask her when she had her Heating and A/C machine serviced because it was possible that her air quality was compromised… She admitted that it had been a long while since everything was working fine, but she had no cause for alarm. I decided to call the nearest commercial Heating and A/C machine provider who also offered residential Heating and A/C services to come and check out her Heating and A/C machine. The cooling specialist arrived the following afternoon. After a seriously thorough check he told us that the HVAC duct needed duct cleaning because the air duct was fairly dirty and clogged up. The actual furnace filter was also genuinely dirty and was obstructed which could explain the tremendous amount of dirt in the entire system. It also explained why granny’s cough had become severe these past months. The cooling machine also needed air purification help which could totally work great with the washable filter to improve air quality a great deal. My granny was in disbelief with all the actual work that needed to be done because she was thinking since she had a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter, she did not need common AC machine servicing. After the professional ended up leaving, every one of us did a major general cleaning of the entire residence, even washed the drapes which trap a huge amount of dust and other types of pollutants. The people I was with and I enjoyed the remainder of the stay and the residence felt much fresher than ever.
