My husband and I love to go camping.

The mountains that surround the city we live in are breathtaking. Todd and I used to camp in the woods behind our house, but that was when we were younger. Now that age has taken some of our energy from us, we actually prefer to camp at a campground in our camper. We bought our camper about seven years ago, and we love it. We bought it used, but we did not have any issues with it until just this year. The air conditioner in our camper stopped working. We thought it was the entire air conditioner, so my husband replaced some parts that are common to go out in camper air conditioners, but that was not the issue. He discovered that the air conditioner was actually fine; it was just the fan in the air conditioner that was not running. He does not know very much about electrical issues, but he decided to try and figure out if there was a bad connection or something. He did find quite a bit of corrosion in one of the wires, so he rewired the fan in the air conditioner, and it turned on just fine. I was so proud of him, and I was even more thankful to have air conditioning. We still planned on going camping even if we did not have air conditioning, but I was not looking forward to it quite as much as I would usually be. It gets really hot in that camper if the air conditioner is not on. I am so glad that I do not have to worry about how we are going to stay cool while on our camping trip.
