I never really had a hobby as a girl.
Whenever I met a new friend when I was younger, they would ask me what my hobbies were, and I would not have an answer for them.
I guess I just liked to play outside. It was my favorite thing to do. I grew up with all brothers, so maybe that had to do with why I did not have many hobbies of my own. When I graduated college, I decided that I wanted to take up a hobby. I started three different hobbies, but the only one that stuck was sewing. I made pillows, scarves, and clothes. I still love sewing to this day. We moved into a larger house about two years ago, and now, I have my own sewing room. I love it so much! The only problem was that it got really hot during the summertime. The air conditioning did not go to my sewing room, so it would be like ninety degrees in there. I just could not sit out there and sew no matter how badly I wanted to. I told my husband that my sewing room was too hot. I wanted to get air conditioning in there somehow. I was thinking that he could run the air conditioning vents to that room, but he said that would not work for some reason, or it would be too much trouble. I was quite disappointed to hear that, but I came home from work the next day to an air conditioned sewing room. My husband went out and bought a small window AC unit for me. I love him so much, and I absolutely love having AC in my sewing room!
