We strode into a cute coffee shop with hundreds of butterflies fluttering in our stomach. The purpose of being worried was that we were here for a blind date. The conversation with our dates was lively. They told us they worked as heating contractors, plus ran a local service provider business. They even commented on the digital thermostat near the service space which we had not noticed before, saying it was a genuinely efficient temperature control model. As all of us were having our coffee, we asked them what funny things they encountered in their work. They told us that sometime the previous month some guys had called saying that they needed their electric heating plan checked because it was so loud causing them grief. The guys sounded so frustrated that they pitied them. The heating contractors sent a heating contractor to go to their house to do a furnace/heater tune-up to decipher what the complication was with the central heater. When he was done he noticed that the electric heat pump had some loose parts that were making the noise. That’s why the contractor conducted a furnace repair. The guys were so impressed by their services that they called in a month later to commend them on their task and also learn more about radiant floor heating, plus how it worked with the zone control plan when it came to whole-house heating. At this point, they were in hysterics because we unknowingly described their encounter with their heating contractor. It was so funny hearing someone else describe the ordeal. When we finally stopped laughing we let them in on the joke.
