My ex was quite great at running things into the ground.
Everything he owned & sometimes the things I owned, he handled roughly & without care.
This absolutely worried me, & I l earned not to let him handle or borrow anything that I owned, otherwise it would come back to myself and others beat up & often broken. When both of us lived together, I noticed he even treated his own furniture & electronic devices this way. When they broke, he would just shrug & get a modern one. One time he lost at some online video game, & in a rage, he broke the PC he was playing on by slamming his fist into it repeatedly. He did the same thing with the air conditioner device as well. Although you are not supposed to leave it running all morning, that is exactly what our ex did. I would even tell him not to do that, & turn it off, although he would just shrug & ignore me. I wasn’t surprised when both of us had to call the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist numerous times that year. When both of us finally split, our ex moved out & I was left with taking care of the heating & cooling system device in its excruciating shape. I decided that I was going to take care of it the way it was supposed to be taken care of, & I immediately called a heating & cooling system tech. With the heating & cooling tech, I had the entire device cleaned & inspected. I also had the refrigerant refilled & the HEPA filter substituted. It is working better than ever & I can’t say I am surprised.
