Just recently, I had to go to the post office to mail some items, and when the people I was with and I have people join our membership organization, the people I was with and I mail them a welcome packet with a plaque in it.
Well, I have thirteen up-to-date members that I needed to welcome, so I got to the post office at about 4:30 p.m.
Well, to my chagrin plus surprise, the air conditioning system in their building was on the fritz; They had no air conditioning system at all that day, plus by the time I got there near the close of business, the temperature control was reading 87 degrees, after all, it is September in the south; It has long been against building code to construct a building separate from air conditioning system. That just goes to show you how pressing it is to have air conditioning system, yet, if the air conditioning system breaks down, there is not a whole lot you can do other than just wait for the Heating plus A/C service supplier to get the work completed. It turns out that the Heating plus A/C crew had not even arrived at the post office that doay plus were not expected to arrive until late the next day. I was flabbergasted, however the men behind the counter explained that the air conditioning system service is contracted using the quote process. That means the lowest-priced Heating plus A/C supplier is the winner, plus that’s the only a single they can use. Therefore, they have to wait two afternoons to get air conditioning system service when the temperature control is reading in the 72s. I actually felt awful for the postal workers, plus I encouraged them to call in sick. There are only 3 employees in that branch, plus if all 3 called in sick, they management would have to do something to get the air conditioning system running sooner, right?
