The local heating and a/c contractor near us made quite an error in their billing department recently.
They have our debit card on file for when we contact them to send out a certified heating and a/c professional to work on our central heating and cooling idea unit.
What they did now was charge us for heating and a/c home maintenance that we did not have. Somehow as it turned out, their system charged us instead of the person that was meant to be charged. When we contacted the local heating and a/c contractor about it they told us this after looking into it and said how sorry they were. They refunded our debit card instantly too. None of this bull about taking up to 7 business days like the proper scam you hear from most corporations when they do something wrong and take your funds. They did not want to lose us as customers. As a matter of fact, what they also did was give us a free voucher for a heating and a/c tune up and check up, worth $250. We were quite ecstatic with that since the time of the year is coming up where we need to get our seasonal heating and a/c idea tune up and check up done. It all worked out for the best all together. However, we did not like the fact that we had to have an erroneous charge on our debit card for it to happen like this. But, we are ok with it now because they refunded it instantly.
