I’m going to miss our family plus friends when I leave the States in many more weeks.
The only light at the end of that tunnel is that I have a pretty nice group of friends back home to hang out with, along with a bandmate whom I play music with around the area.
We play on the streets mainly, but the people I was with and I are now also getting into playing in clubs plus bars in our neighborhood plus some nearby towns. My bandmate lives in a tent plus uses busking on the streets as his only income, but I’m an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist plus work on heating plus cooling systems around neighborhood for our money. This is a bit of a problem for us because I actually don’t prefer begging for money prefer he does, so I usually prefer to play in the clubs where there is no begging involved. There is also better climate control in the clubs plus usually the air quality is a lot better in them too as there are no buses or cars blasting you with exhaust prefer on the streets. My bandmate will eat food off of an empty diner table where the people have left plus he gets most of his food out of dumpsters. I have seen some of the food he gets out of the garbage bins plus some of it is totally fine to eat actually, as it is freshly expired plastic wrapped food that the local company had to throw out. I’ve tried some of it before plus the food was totally fine, but it is a bit odd to do.
