Some years ago, I went to live in the north of the country and experienced a drastic change in the climate.
It rained a lot, and the skies were often cloudy with barely any sun. The good thing about it is that there were also a lot of green fields and dense forests, which I really liked. I often walked my dog in the country, she loved the open green fields where she could freely run about chasing squirrels. In winter, it sometimes snowed, and I liked turning on the central heating and being nice and cozy indoors. We also had an electric fireplace and enjoyed drinking tea next to it while watching TV. I lived with my grandfather, who used to be an HVAC technician. He told me a lot of stories about his workplace. He said he met my grandma at the hospital where he worked, and even though it was not easy working in the HVAC business, he said his experience at the hospital was more laid-back compared to other establishments he worked for. The good thing about having my grandfather around is that he could repair the heater if it was not functioning. He was a true handyman and could repair just about anything around the house. I remember he repaired the bathroom furnace in no time and also replaced my bicycle tires in just 30 minutes! After being discharged from the army, my granddad quickly had to earn a living and was naturally inclined to pursue a career as an HVAC technician. As long as my grandfather was around, we never had to spend money to get things repaired!
