I have been the director of events at many concerts over the years, and I have worked in this one venue for the last several years.
And I have to tell you, that I have not been happy with the set up of their performance stages.
I have told them as an advisor to replace the performance stage with a more high quality one and they just were not listening to me. The performance stage issue was something that I was determined to fix. So after clearing it with the manager, I decided to rent a performance stage for testing and have them all come to see the difference in the performance stage that they had verses the performance stage I was renting. After careful consideration, they found that I was right all along and that it was time to invest in a brand new and very up to date performance stage. The performance stage they had in the place was many years old. And this was the main issue. They were just too cheap to want to see it for themselves. So by my renting a performance stage for them to look at and compare, I finally got them to get off their behinds and make that change! The concert goers will appreciate it, the performers will appreciate it, and I am very sure that the venue will appreciate it once they have people talking about what a great performance stage they have at their concert hall now days!
