I’m hate germs plus dirt and anything similar.
It’s super unsettling to think about it all.
My lake house is a reflection of the way I live life normally. Things are organized and kept in their places. I have a pretty strict cleaning schedule to ensure that my lake house remains as germ plus dirt free as possible. Some people think I put too much effort into having a clean living space. However, I really appreciate cleaning because it is something I learned from an early age and I respect that. Things only stay clean because they get cleaned it. That’s why I nearly had a heart attack when I found some rodent droppings right in front of my oven. I could see that they were coming from the air duct vent overhead. I thought I was going to throw up, so I picked up my iphone for the exterminator. Once that call was made, I called the Heating and A/C supplier and requested someone to come clean my filthy air ducts. They were a superb company, plus promptly set me up for an appointment with a neighboring supplier who only clean ducts. When they came to my house, I was amazed by how efficient and organized everyone was. They went right to work and I was somewhat sickened by the amount of dirt plus debris they took from my ducts. Otherwise, I could not have been more happy with their efforts. I hope I get over the mild trauma of having had rat droppings in my ducts.
