I have been looking into weird window films for our home… My home has a ton of big, elegant windows that face the road. I love the look of it so much. It makes the locale look airy, open in addition to grand. However, the issue is that anyone driving down the road can look in in addition to see, and you can see me cooking in our study room, our husband enjoying TV in the family room in addition to the kids playing in the house. I certainly don’t want people seeing us during those moments. I also don’t want to encourage robbers to come break into our house. The windows leave no doubt that the home is empty or filled. I found that a window film/tinting corporation can do a lot of things to conceal our home. There are sun control window films that protect the home against UV rays. Typically the film isn’t all that dark though. There are window films that look love frosted glass, rain drops or have a slight pattern. I certainly want to be able to see out of all our windows though. That is why I am leaning more towards a tint. You can make the windows a certain color from the outside but be able to see them while you are inside. I am looking at a slightly grey/black tint to conceal our family from people driving by in addition to robbers, then surprisingly the cost is quite low in addition to the reward is quite high. It is worth it to me in the end.
