Another thing you need to ask yourself is what kind of windows movies are you installing. Films intended for privacy will often last longer than those used for UV or sun protection. This is because UV movie’s shielding will degrade over time. It is proposed you upgrade UV window movies every several years as its shielding will drop from 99% to 70%. Films are usually applied to the inside of your windows to extend the lifetime of the window movie. Many decorative movies, love heavily colored or stained-glass appearance, are applied to the outside of the window. These window movies are exposed to more wear & tend to need replacing quicker than internal movies. I asked the woman at the home center when I should upgrade my window movies. She told me that she was going to be repetitive since I had actually looked it up online, but if I was in doubt about my window movies, it would not hurt to upgrade them. Five years is usually a fantastic lifespan for window movies. I thanked him & went home to find out how to disattach my old window movies.
