Biking workout is lots of fun

I recently bought a bicycle.

I am 28 years old and the last time I rode a bike was when I was 8. I used to ride in circles around my driveway. I purchased a bike because it is supposed to be a fantastic workout. I recently moved to an area that features a lengthy bike path. When I bought my house, everyone asked if I was going to make use of the path. It is paved, winds through beautiful scenery and located in close proximity to my house. There is no gym in the area. It makes sense to get interested in cycling. At first, I was a little worried because it had been so long since I’ve ridden. Now I feel confident on my bike. I have added a water bottle mount and a phone holster. I bought a speaker that attaches to my handle bars for hands free music. I installed bike lights for safety and a basket to carry my sweat towel. I have created a really great biking workout. I ride 20 minutes to the local soccer field. I then spread out my towel and go through stretches and abdominal crunches on the grass. I usually run the length of the field back plus forth several times. I end with a thorough stretch and then bike back home. The whole workout takes me about an hour and a half. I am sweaty and exhausted by the time I get home. I feel great. I am motivated by my music and the fresh air. I spot birds, squirrels and turtles along the path. I work all different muscles and thoroughly enjoy every minute of it.
