The outdoor treehouse even has a heater for cold nights

My husband decided to build a treehouse in the backyard for our boys.

I knew the project was going to take a long time to complete.

My husband started the project two summers ago. He worked on the treehouse on Fridays after work as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. We spent about $1,500 for the lumber and another 2 or $300 for all of the accessories necessary to complete the job. After two years, my husband finally completed the Treehouse at the end of this summer. We wanted the children to be able to enjoy the tree house during the fall and winter months as well, so my husband installed a radiant heating machine in the tree house. The radiant heater is near the ceiling in a spot where the kids won’t be able to touch it. The ductless radiant heater has a remote control to change the indoor temperatures and shut the machine on and off. Last weekend my husband and the children spent the night in the clubhouse. They watched a movie on the laptop and had popcorn and snacks from the kitchen. It was only 50 degrees outside that night, but the kids and my hubby were all warm and cozy thanks to the ductless radiant heater and a couple of sleeping bags. The only problem they had on that night was the sound of coyotes howling and the distance. It kept the boys awake because they were worried about werewolves. Clearly they won’t be able to spend the night alone out there for some time.
