Unfortunately, when it comes to my husband and I trying to make decisions together, we can rarely come to an agreement. We just do things differently, and so we have learned to do things our own way unless it is something that is major that requires both of our input. Getting a new heating method is definitely one of those examples, and it’s exactly what we have been discussing lately. We have long been needing an update, because our furnace system is no longer very efficient, and it is costing us more money in the long run. I believe that we should try getting a geothermal heat pump. Not only have I heard many good things about heat pumps, but they are eco-friendly, which is something that is very important to me. However, my husband just wants to get a better model of the central heating and air conditioning system. He is not interested in trying anything new, because he knows the old way works and wants to stick with it. This has been causing us issues as we discuss different heater methods that we should try. I have even been trying to recommend other A/C devices like ductless A/C units, but my husband is firm in his belief of keeping central HVAC systems. We are going to have to come to an agreement soon, because we can’t go without a HVAC machine. I think that it will have to come down to what a HVAC technician thinks and what we can afford in our budget.
