My friends and I went to an away game and we stayed in a hotel that weekend. The game was on Sunday afternoon at 1. I didn’t want to drive to the location early on Sunday morning, so staying in a hotel was our best bet. Most of the hotels by the stadium were expensive. We found a room at a cheaper motel about 20 minutes away from the stadium. I made the reservation online and we checked into the room as soon as we arrived. The desk clerk was a really cute girl that was a few years older than my friends and I. She told us that the AC in the room was a little loud. My friends and I acted like that was no big deal. We weren’t very concerned with the AC unit. We were there to see the football game. When the clerk told us that the AC was a little loud, that was an understatement. The AC unit was so loud that we couldn’t turn it on. Every time the machine was running, it sounded like a train was going to drive through the side of the room. I told my friends that we should go down to the front desk and ask for another room, but Jack didn’t want to look like a baby in front of the cute desk clerk. I barely slept 2 or 3 hours, because it was impossible to sleep without the AC running. It was hot and humid and the sticky temperatures were slightly worse than the obnoxious sound coming from the wall AC unit.
