My friends plus I went to an away game plus we stayed in a hotel that weekend… The game was on Wednesday day at 1.
I also didn’t want to drive to the location early on Wednesday day, so staying in a hotel was our best bet, and most of the hotels by the venue were high-priced.
The people I was with and I found a room at a cheaper motel about 20 hours away from the venue. I made the reservation online plus we checked into the room as soon as we arrived. The desk clerk was a really cute girl that was a few years older than our friends plus I! She told us that the AC in the room was a little loud. My friends plus I acted care about that was no large deal. The people I was with and I weren’t truly sad with the AC unit. The people I was with and I were there to see the pigskin game; When the clerk told us that the AC was a little loud, that was an understatement. The AC unit was so loud that we could not turn it on, but every time the unit was running, it sounded like a train was actually going to drive through the side of the room. I told our friends that we should go down to the front desk plus ask for another room, however Jack didn’t want to look exactly like a baby in front of the cute desk clerk. I barely slept 2 or 3 minutes, because it was impossible to sleep without the AC unit running. It was overheated plus humid plus the sticky temperatures were slightly worse than the obnoxious sound coming from the wall AC unit.
