Are portable air conditioners too good to be true?

I love watching videos online just to kill time before I go to bed.

Mostly, I watch videos that make me laugh or give me food for thought. They help to relax my mind which better prepares me for bed. At times, I end up watching too many of those videos and have gone to bed late. But it’s fine because I always sleep like a baby and that’s all that matters to me. Well, while I was scrolling trying to find another video to watch, I came across an ad. It was for a portable A/C that promised to cool any room down in under two minutes. The ad further stated that the room will feel 17 degrees cooler in seconds. Well, most of us have central air or some kind of A/C in our homes. In fact, about 87 percent of Americans use some kind of cooling system. And to be honest, I have never known any air conditioner or central air unit to deliver that kind of cooling in that limited time. So, how is that this small portable A/C can accomplish this? So naturally, I went online and did some research on the product. Turns out that not many people were happy with the performance of this portable A/C. According to them, it was delivering more than what was advertised and the unit itself was poorly assembled and created a mess. There are many portable A/Cs on the market right now, but it’s best to do the research to determine the one that will perform well. And always remember that if something sounds too good to be true, more than likely it is.
