This was a bit concerning because Cami lives in a area of the country that experiences triple digit temperatures, plus last week, the highs crept up into the 90’s.
Last week, I visited one of my childhood friends that I have not seen in a while. It was amazing to see Cami again after all this time of being apart. We grew up together plus did everything with each other. The people in the neighborhood used to call us twins because both of us were like glue, where you saw Cami, I was also close by. Those were the wonderful aged afternoons but now life has taken over, plus both of us get to see each other maybe once every 5 years. We live on opposite sides of the country, so it makes it difficult to see each other. Well, while I was visiting Cami, the weirdest thing happened. His air conditioning system broke down in the middle of the evening. Thankfully, he has a ceiling fan in his guest room plus that became my saving grace. The next day Cami called his local Heating plus Air Conditioning provider plus was told that it would be 3 afternoons before they could come plus repair the unit. She contacted another company plus he received the same news. Well, I didn’t want to spend the next 3 afternoons inside a sizzling house, so I suggested that both of us find the best hotel in neighborhood plus spend the time luxuriating by a pool plus enjoying a nice cold room. Cami did not hesitate plus both of us had the best time at the hotel. It was like a well-needed mini-trip, so Cami’s air conditioning system cutting was a blessing in disguise.
