Tomorrow I have the day off so I’m shopping for thermostats.
I have been in need of a new thermostat for quite a while now, but I have been putting off actually going out to buy one.
I hate going shopping and so I was waiting around until the last possible minute to go out and find a new thermostat. Even though the indoor air quality in my house is suffering because of my broken thermostat, I just couldn’t get myself geared up to go and do it. I thought about ordering a thermostat unit online, but it is one of those things that you kind of need to do in person. Since I need a professional HVAC technician to come and install it for me anyway, I figure that I might as well go to one of the local HVAC companies and look around in their showroom to see which one of the thermostats I actually like. I know that there are lots of different kinds of thermostats out there on the market today and so I will not have to settle for the old fashioned kind that I used to have. That thing was so old that I can’t believe that it lasted as long as it actually did! I think that once I find a new thermostat and have it installed, the heating and cooling bills in my house will decrease dramatically. Even though I hate the fact that I am going to have to spend my day off tomorrow shopping for a thermostat, I have to admit that I will be glad when the new one is installed in my house.
