Most of the time at night, it’s so silent in the home that you can hear a pin drop.

My closest neighbor is quite a distance away. I don’t have any neighbors that are close to my home. When the neighbors have gatherings, sometimes I can hear the music. It’s nice to have some distance between our homes. I’d never want to live in a village where my neighbor and I can look out the window and talk to each other. That is way too close in my opinion. Since it is unusual for me to hear any noises coming from my neighbor, it was very strange for me to get woken up in the middle of the night. I heard screaming and yelling. I suddenly got out of bed and looked out the window. My neighbor’s home was on fire. I jumped into my car and drove down there as suddenly as I could. I wanted to lend any assistance before things got worse. This fire truck was pulling into the property right before I arrived. They started dousing the entire home with water. The neighbors got out of the home in time and so did all of the adolescents and their critters. No lives were lost during the fire, but the flames took out half of their home. The fire was as a result of a short in the oil furnace wires. The oil furnace fire could have been deadly. Furnace fires are a pressing concern in this part of the country. Everyone relies on their oil furnace during this time of the year and fires can happen from time to time.
