House parties are a big thing for Christmas and it reminds me of being a kid when I used to live here long ago. We live in a beach town here and a lot of people have parties on their boats. But the weather is much too cold for that so this time we are going to have the party at my mom’s house so everyone can be comfortable. The weather outside is frightful today and it would be a good idea to stay indoors and stay warm for the next few weeks till the cold front is gone. A fireplace with a nice fire going is a great idea for the party tonight and I think it is going to be a fun time. I plan on drinking some eggnog and taking it all in because in a little over two more weeks this is all going to be a memory for me as I sit on my long flight back overseas for another six month stint over there. I sell heating and cooling devices over there and have been for a few years now, but I think I will move back here to be with my friends and family before they all get too old for me. I am getting old too and won’t want to do these long plane rides back and forth for much longer. I can do some HVAC tech repairs and hot water heater installs if I move back here and make some good money while living with either my mom or my aunt. We shall see.
