After tying all sorts of heating systems, I think a boiler is the best

Because of my job, I’m constantly moving to new locations. I’ve lived all along the upper east coast and across the northern border of the country. I’ve rented all different sizes and styles of homes and apartments. I’ve become familiar with a wide variety of heating systems, including forced air furnaces, electric heat pumps, high velocity units, ductless options and boilers. There are certainly pros and cons to the various heaters, but I am convinced that a boiler is by far the best. Boiler systems use water to move and provide heat energy. Water heats up more quickly and retains heat longer than air, making it a more energy efficient choice. It doesn’t overly dry out the air, eliminating the need for a humidifier. Because the boiler infuses heat into the air, rather than introducing new air into the room, it avoids the spread of contaminants such as dust, bacteria and mold. A boiler provides a cleaner, healthier and more comfortable living environment. There are no drafts, hot or cold spot, and very little temperature stratification. Plus, boiler systems are wonderfully safe, reliable and quiet. A boiler can be linked to baseboard heaters, radiators, radiant flooring, snowmelt systems and even supplement water heating needs. My favorite of these options is radiant floor heating. The equipment is entirely concealed beneath the floor, requires no maintenance and allows for easy setup of zone control. Each room can be adjusted to the perfect temperature, and there’s no need to heat unoccupied areas. I just love waking up in morning and stepping onto a warm floor.
