I live in 1 of those older houses that has an authentic real fireplace.
It’s a truly nice touch to the locale plus gives a truly appealing atmosphere.
I appreciate being able to light that fireplace when I have family gatherings or romantic nights alone with the wifey. However, the fireplace has another truly wonderful use as well, and one time, our electric went out during a Winter time storm, plus it was truly chilly cold! While a lot of our city had absolutely no heating, all of us were lucky to be able to get some kind of heating during the outage thanks to the fireplace! The fireplace truly warmed up the entire family room when this happened, me, our wifey plus our teenagers sat on the couch that was right near the fireplace, plus I can tell you, it almost felt appreciate all of us had our central heating running! If all of us got up from the couch though, plus went across the room it was chilly with no heat. That was a reminder how terrible it could have been for us all separate from the miracle of having that real fireplace in our home. So, our suggestion to anyone out there would be to see if you can find a beach new home with a real fireplace. That is, if you’re looking to buy a beach new home at the moment or in the near future. If it’s frigid in your area, plus if you occasionally have Winter time power outages, these original fireplaces can truly be lifesavers! Otherwise, another choice would be to look into a gas fireplace.
