Work has never been better now that I have custom HVAC

There sure were a lot of people who figured out just what I had to learn a little over 4 years ago.

And that’s the fact that working from the air conditioning at home is a whole lot different that the air conditioning of the office.

For one, you’re paying for the heating and cooling and not the company. But that’s one of the least of the differences. It’s just tough to transition. Finding out how you work from home is a process. Thankfully, my company knew that going in. I was pretty freaked out at first when I saw how my productivity and efficiency dropped significantly over the first quarter that I worked from home. The company was very patient and reminded me that things were different. They also made sure I understood they had full confidence in my abilities. But if I wanted to come back to work in the zone controlled HVAC of the office, I could. I didn’t want to do that but I didn’t like having my work suffer. This made me more committed to making working from home viable. It started by making myself a legit home office and not working from different space just to get some air conditioning. So I took over a small spare room, had the HVAC company install a ductless heat pump and turned that into a real workspace. It didn’t take but a few weeks before my numbers bounced back. And I haven’t yet stopped topping those numbers. Custom heating and cooling was a big factor in the success of my home office.
