The importance of HVAC in a home gym

I have a home gym in my house. I have very specific reasons why I have a home gym. I can’t stand going to regular gyms. They have one of two problems, no matter which gym you go to. Either they cost way too much money to be worth it, or they have too many rules and restrictions for what you can do. I figured I could avoid both by saving up money and creating a gym in my house. After the weights and barbells, one of the most important things for my home gym was proper HVAC units. In my home gym, I had to hire an HVAC company to allow me to separate my HVAC units in my gym from the rest of my house. At first, the HVAC technician tried to get me to purchase a zone-controlled thermostat, but I realized that I could do it the cheaper way and purchase a ductless mini-split air conditioner. This would allow me to use both the air conditioner or heating system on one device, and it was a much simpler installation process. Why did I need to have both a separate air conditioner and heater in my home gym? Well, you typically need cooler temperatures for a workout room. All of the exercises cause you to get very warm, and I didn’t want to worry about sweating too much while I was working out. In the Summer, I could use the air conditioner setting to keep me a little bit cooler than I normally would be, and that would help me to work hard. In Winter, I could also use the air conditioner to cool the heated room. I only purchased the unit with the heating system in case I wanted to sweat more to burn body fat off!
