I think that my brother in law might actually be able to make it with his business this time.
He has started up several different businesses in the past, but he has not been doing really well with him at all. It’s like he wants to start something and then he quits over and over and that is not good. But then last year he decided that he was going to go back to school to get his HVAC certification and he really stuck with it and actually ended up graduating. After that, I thought that he would probably end up getting fired from any job that he took with an HVAC company here in town, but he ended up really loving the position that he took. Now, a year later, he is still working as an HVAC technician and he told us about a year ago that he was going to open up his own commercial HVAC business. When he said that, I almost snorted my drink through my nose because I could not even imagine him owning his own business. He just does not seem like the kind of guy who can run his own business with any type of success. He always seems to be too wishy washy and lazy to me, but maybe that is just because I have preconceived notions of him. I’m always afraid that he is not going to provide a good life for my sister and for my nieces. But perhaps being a commercial HVAC contractor is actually what he needs to do with his life.
