When the word came down that there would be some big changes inside the zone controlled HVAC of our corporate offices, I had a bad feeling.
My entire career, all 14 years, had been spent with one company.
And I had done whatever was asked, moved wherever I was asked and took the tougher jobs in order to get to the zone controlled HVAC of the corporate offices. My wife and I had actually put down roots in the community after buying and renovating our very first home. It’s a great house and has the very best quality heating and air I’ve ever experienced. Being from the north, I wanted to be sure that we had so really great residential HVAC when it came to living far south. The heat and humidity in this region is legendary and I sure didn’t want to have some middling heat pump that didn’t do the job. So after we bought the house and started some of the other pressing renovations, we went to the HVAC company. There, we met with the HVAC contractor who helped us get just the right amount of HVAC technology to go along with our state of the air residential HVAC. I’ve enjoyed that wonderful heating and cooling equipment for exactly a year. My bad feeling was right. I was once again asked to take over a regional office that was flailing since the pandemic. I’m sure going to miss that perfect quality heating and air in my house and office.
