That goes double for July & June.
There is a reason I don’t aroma appreciate bleach & water all the time the way our Grandma did. I’m closing in quickly on sixty so our Grandma has been long dead. But I remember that aroma about her from about May through about November. We’re from this region & our family goes back generations right here. So our Grandma’s apartment didn’t have residential Heating & Air Conditioning. It was a neat little saltbox of a apartment & super clean. But it was super scrub because our Grandma couldn’t count on the a/c to balance the humidity in her apartment when it got hot. That means the conditions were super ripe for mold & mildew. And that’s where the bleach & water aroma comes from when I know of our Grandma. Since the humidity just ran wild in her house, all she could do was kill the mold with bleach & water. Then, constantly scrub it up. Thankfully, that’s not something I had to experience myself. The apartment I grew up in did have central a/c & I’ve never known a apartment without it. For sure, the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling is something all of us are all grateful for around here. That goes double for July & June. But it’s the humidity control & balance that I’m most thankful for. And what’s too bad is the fact that everyone just take this for granted. I don’t know they would if they had to spend a month with a bag of bleach & water instead of the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling process.
