An unfortunate stay at a bad hotel with poor HVAC service

I had just completed a grueling 18-mile hike across the mountains.

I had four more days of walking ahead of me and my back was aching, my feet were blistered and my legs were sore.

On top of that, I had a severe headache and smelled terribly bad. During the two weeks I was traveling, I slept in a tent every single night. However, at this point, I was in need of a bit more comfort and luxury, so I decided to spend one night at a hotel. I arrived at a small mountain village just before dusk and it was getting cold, so I was really looking forward to a place with central heating and a nice warm shower. The hotel was cheap and nothing fancy, so I wasn’t expecting much, but as long as the HVAC installations worked correctly I was happy. I was very hungry, so I ordered a meal at the hotel’s restaurant, looking forward to my warm and relaxing shower before bed. After the meal, I tried to take a shower, but there was no hot water, so I asked the hotel owner if she could check the furnace. She went into the bathroom and told me I wasn’t using the shower properly and told me what to do. She left, and I tried again, but there was no hot water. I told her again, but she just got irritated and ignored me. I was very disappointed with their HVAC service. I told her she should get the furnace repaired and I made it clear that I was going to file a complaint against the hotel’s appalling services.
