They had to be sure they were wasps and not honey bees

It wasn’t too long ago when my wife and kids were just relaxing in our backyard.

The kids were enjoying playing in the pool and my wife and I just had some drinks while we were watching the kids.

Soon, my wife noticed some kind of flying insects that were going in and out of our detached garage. They looked like some sort of bees, but scarier. My wife thought they might be wasps and so I quickly decided to call a wasp removal service. When I was talking to them on the phone, they wanted to make sure they were wasps and not honey bees. I was pretty sure they were not honey bees, they had the skinny bodies and they looked rather intimidating. So we had a wasp removal expert come out and sure enough, he confirmed that they were wasps. The wasp nest was actually in a part of the garage that was difficult to get to, but there was a noticeable bulge that we never noticed previously. So we made sure that all our kids were safe inside the house while the wasp removal expert was doing his thing. He was able to safely kill all the wasps and remove the wasp nest from the garage. He actually had to pull apart the part of the garage where the wasps were located, but I was just happy that the wasps were taken care of. He explained that the reason why they had to be sure they were wasps is because a lot of people have innocent honey bees exterminated and honey bees need to be protected.
