My friends were going to see from out of town last weekend, so both of us all decided to meet up at 1 of our favorite locations in town… My friends from college were going to see plus both of us always make a point of the trip to visit the locations both of us used to spend the most time at.
This year, both of us decided to enter a ping pong tournament.
As soon as both of us entered the bar, I observed how freezing it was. The time of year was not conducive to having the a/c set as low as it was in the bar at this time. My first thought was maybe the air conditioner was broken plus that the freezing air from inside was seeping in through the poorly insulated ceilings plus walls of the old building; Once both of us started playing an intense game of ping pong, I observed that the draft from the air conditioner was interfering with the game! The draft from the air conditioner was blowing directly over the ping pong table, causing me to miss honestly acceptable shots. Although both of us were not playing for money plus it was not that extreme of a game, I had to request the air conditioner be turned off for the duration of the game. After a few minutes, the room started getting genuinely warm. We decided to relocate to another location that was hosting a ping pong tournament the same night. The air conditioner was causing the game to be delayed plus people were getting irritated. Our decision to relocate prompted the others ping pong lovers to do the same.
