. At the locale where I work they are always making corporate decisions on things; I am never included in these because I am just a regular worker and not part of the management team.
Recently, they went and made a decision to substitute their commercial heating and cooling system plan to a rooftop heating and A/C system; Because of them having such an extreme change in their central heating and cooling system, and because of all the heating and A/C repair that was about to take place at the job site, they had to give us all time off from work,not that i’m complaining because it was with pay.
But I didn’t realise how much construction was going to be needed to put in a rooftop heating and A/C system. I had thought that installing a rooftop heating and A/C plan was going to be no different than your regular or commercial heating and cooling system unit. But this was not the case here! Aside from getting a week off from work with full pay, it was kind of cool to learn a little about the process of the replacement of a rooftop heating and A/C system. We had the whole process explained to us because of the unseen and unplanned time off. Their old commercial heating and cooling system was on its last leg, so that was why they made this decision on such short notice. Had there been time to plan it out, they told us that they would have paid extra money and had the rooftop heating and A/C construction done over a full weekend so that they didn’t have to send us all home.
