Taking an interest in HVAC and indoor air quality

Seems like I am fully onboard with what a new reality we are all living through with regard to the pandemic.

It is a lot to deal with even though we have been doing it for many months thus far.

However, we are far from out of the woods on this one and I’m going to continue to do all I need to be doing. We live in a nicely HVAC controlled home. Thankfully, it is a place where my wife and I like to be. If that wasn’t the case, I can only imagine how much worse this experience would be. But we love our home and we have very comfortable HVAC. That’s something you really need around here during the summer. However, the onset of this Covid virus has gotten me to consider my HVAC in a much different light. Now, I think about the HVAC and the air quality inside my home. I also look to my HVAC to add another layer to our Covid protocol. You definitely want to spend a few bucks extra simply to get a HEPA type HVAC air filter for your home. Just doing this improves the air quality greatly. In turn, that better air quality makes for better health and an improved immune response. If you want to add that extra layer of protection, install a whole house air purifier. The combination of the filter and the purifier result in legitimate Covid mitigation. Studies are showing that airborne virus particulate can be eliminated from the air in as little as 30 minutes. That’s definitely an added layer of protection during such uncertain times.
