The HVAC facts speak for themselves

There are certainly day where I want to just scream into the nearest HVAC vent.

But, I don’t and try to maintain my cool.

However, in the real estate business, I come across people I would really love to just walk away from. I take my position as a realtor very seriously and comport myself as a professional. There are opinions all over about realtors but, I know I’m doing it to pair the right seller with the right buyer. However, there are some sellers and buyers who are absolutely convinced that they can do my job better than I can. This is what gets to be so tough. It usually starts when I suggest an upgrade like the HVAC unit. I have had some sellers actually scream at me for the mere idea that their 25 year old HVAC wasn’t helping them sell their home. It never ends with the HVAC. And what’s worse is the fact that I have all the data showing just how important an HVAC upgrade is to selling a home. It’s true almost everywhere but when you are in an area where HVAC is a top priority, it’s even more vital to upgrade the HVAC. Yet, I go round and round with people who just don’t want to face facts. Honestly, if a seller won’t budge on the HVAC upgrade, I know that listing is probably not worth my time. If I show you all the data from the comps and you still insist on sticking with an antiquated HVAC unit, I will probably just have to move on.
