The internet is such a crazy place.
There is so much information out there, and you could spend hours researching, reading, and watching videos on just one topic.
It’s great because we can become more educated but it can also be bad. We can find ourselves wasting valuable time for topics or subject matters that make no sense. I have been there before and it’s such a waste of time. Anyway, not all the internet is bad though, the news can be a bit daunting, but there are some stories that aren’t completely horrible. For instance, I was searching on the internet for air purifiers and an article popped up about the schools in a nearby district and how they finally got approval to upgrade their HVAC systems. Apparently, the parents were quite concerned about the air quality inside the school buildings. In addition, all the other surrounding counties already had their upgrades done, and this particular school district was the last to release those funds. I remember when I got the news about my kids’ school upgrading the heating and cooling as well as installing the air purification system. It made me comfortable knowing that the school board cared about our kids. The kids didn’t care one way or another if they had a new air purifier, all they wanted to do was to go back to school. And when they went back to school, I noticed a significant dip in my energy bill. So, that was a great thing for me because I can now conserve more energy and save some money.
